September marks the beginning of a new year here at Pugwash Bay Aston Village. We welcomed lots of new children at the beginning of the month and it’s great to see that they have all settled in well.

The Little Lions were exploring the theme ‘Under the Sea’ with Megan and Emelda. They painted fish and jelly fish and they enjoyed water play. Their nursery rhyme of the month was ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’.

The Zebra Room were also working on the theme ‘Under the Sea’ with their room leader Niall. Along with some similar activities to The Little Lions, they were singing lots of new songs at Circle Time and they started doing their ‘Run for Fun’ during outdoor play too. Niall is going to display all information about this over the next few days on The Zebra’s room door for all parents to see.

The Tigers also had a busy month. As we had lots of new children starting, Roisin and Irene spent the first week helping the children get settled in and get to know each other. The children have been exploring the theme All About Me and Our Feelings and Emotions. Autumn has arrived, so the children gathered leaves from home and brought them in for art time last Friday.

That was our month of September, we are looking forward to see what October brings. Thank you for all your continuous support.
