It has been a very busy month in Pugwash bay Bay Estate, All of our rooms participated in Beep Beep day, learning all about road safety!
All the classes participated in the Halloween dress up party in aid of Temple Street Hospital and we also all got involved in the ChildLine breakfast morning.
The ‘Poppy Room’ were very busy this month continuing to learn all about Autumn, the weather changes, leaves falling and animals hibernating for the winter. They were also learning about Halloween. We made lots of spooky Halloween art, from pumpkins, to spiders, ghosts, vampires and even some cats! The children got very creative decorating their classroom and making some cool sensory boxes with Halloween rice and spiders. We had lots of fun dressing up for their fancy dress Halloween party before finishing up for mid term on Friday, we had some spooky witches, vampires, princess and superhero’s.
The ‘Sunflower Room’ were also very busy getting creative this month, they made spooky ghosts with their hand prints, apple pumpkin paintings, spider hats and spider webs. The children had so much fun at their dress up party, some lovely princess, vampires, cowboys and superhero’s, even a big lion showed up to join in on the fun! To make their morning extra special they got to have their breakfast together in aid of ChildLine.
The ‘Daisy Room’ learned all about dinosaurs this month, making dinosaur eggs and a volcano. They also made some spooky Halloween art, they made some cool pumpkins, witches potions too,  while learning all about hibernating hedgehogs. They also enjoyed their dress up party in aid of temple street with some superhero’s, witches, princess and zombies.
All out after school children joined in on the Halloween fun too, they enjoyed getting creative from making Halloween pictures, and Halloween latrines made from recycled materials, to spider hats! The after school children also enjoyed a dress up party and playing fun games on the Friday before midterm.
We would like to thank all the children and their families for your kind donations for both charities, we managed to raise €143 in total.
