In Pugwash Bay,  Bay Estate we had a very busy month of September, it was a month for settling in and getting to know each other, helping us build up our morning routines. Hands were painted, pictures were taken and lots of games and group activities to help the children bond.

In the Daisy room the children made a car and car wash together, they made some lovely friendship bracelets and learnt all about healthy eating, hand washing and how to brush their teeth. We made pizza and tasted different foods.

In the Poppy room the children did lots of activities and games to get to know each other and settle in, we learned all about hygiene and hand washing, we made lovely friendship tree’s and hand paintings. The children done some cool caterpillars with our circle shapes and enjoyed making a sensory box for our classroom. To finish off the month we have been learning all about Autumn, we painted some leaves and we are making a nature table.

The Sunflower room is also having lots of fun this month settling in to their new classroom, they enjoyed making a friendship tree, painting their hands and learning to wash their hands. The children had lots of fun doing activities to get to know each other, they made  love heart cards for their friends and they done some fun sand and water actives as part of their sensory play.

Overall September has been a very fun month settling in and we are looking forward to all the fun next month brings.
