We started the month of July celebrating the 4th of July. The children and staff wore blue, white or red clothes with either stripes or stars. They coloured 4th of July colouring pages, done some blob painting and also baked yummy buns.

Aine brought in her tin whistle to play lovely Irish music to the children. Some of the children showed of their very impressive Irish Dancing skills.

We have been making use of the lovely weather by taking our activities out to the garden to paint, colour and play board games in the sun.

The turtles room have been taking trips out in the Turtle bus every day and having great fun chatting to the neighbours along the way.

Shauna and Aine’s class had a carnival themed week where they made a circus tent, clown noses and also played games such as twister, knock the cups and skittles. They had really great fun.

Theirs is plenty more fun planned, with water fight, teddy bear picnic and scavenger hunts over the next few weeks.

We celebrated a lot of Summer birthdays too this month we had plenty of cakes and discos to celebrate with our friends.

The children are enjoying our weekly exercise classes outside using different equipment for games and activities they especially the cooling down part where they have enjoyed some yummy ice-pops.
