This month in Mornington the after school class have been busy doing lots of fun art and crafts for Halloween and baking yummy treats such as banana ghosts and monster cup cakes. We have made spiral hanging ghosts, pumpkin paper plates, hanging spiders and the whole group worked together on a Halloween wall hanging display.
The ‘Turtle Room’ explored the theme of Autumn and painted some hedgehogs, acorns and leaves. We enjoyed singing our new Autumn song. We made some spooky footprint ghosts too and we enjoyed dressing up for our Halloween Party in Aid of Temple street.
The ‘Starfish Room’ made a Halloween area and done some lovely art to decorate it including pumpkins, stars, witches and spider webs. As group work we all painted a big treat or treat sign for our Halloween party in aid of temple street and we really enjoyed our party day.
Thank you to everyone who made a donation last Friday for ‘Our Treat or Treat’ dress up day for Temple Street Children’s Hospital we raised €100.51.
